Day 264

I never grow tired of the wonderful sights along (and sometimes in the middle of) the road as we drive throughout this beautiful country of Rwanda.

I hope I will always remember the grace with which people move about their daily activities.

And I hope i shall always remember the determination with which Rwandans carry out their daily responsibilities.

They make it happen!

  1. Wow, life would be so simple to just go set up your mud hut with tin roof to the side of a banana tree. Wake up with the sun, putter around with a ho in your patch of mountain side, maybe fill up a jerry can or two, and maybe even stop in at the Friendship bar to see your pals. Then go to sleep when the sun sets. Dad, I hope you are able to pull Mom away from the temptation to stay indefinitely and set up shop there and come back to all your first-world difficulties in January. I think you've got your work cut out for you.
