Day 260

Kigali Branch Conference was held today. It was a noteworthy day in so many ways...President Jackson presided, Brad conducted, and the Kigali Branch was split and we now have two branches. One branch will remain in this building, and another group will meet in Nyamirambo. It is hoped that a building can soon be found for them to meet in...in the meanwhile, they will be in the rented room at Mount Kigali Hotel where we met during the month of July. So much has happened this weekend - the arrival of the mission president and his wife for the first time since we have been in Rwanda, the arrival of the first full-time elders assigned to Kigali, and the creation of a new branch. It will be exciting to witness what else will happen in our remaining months as missionaries in Rwanda!
