| We drove 2 1/2 hours south to visit Murambi Genocide Memorial. This is the unfinished technical school where 50,000 were sent for supposed refuge. Instead, they were attacked and slaughtered in April 1994. Read more about this tragic event HERE |

| Genocide Memorial sites are located in every community throughout the country. It is a sobering, yet important experience to visit the sites and recognize the horrible genocide that occured in this country. |
