Day 248

Yikes - another year older! This is the third birthday I have spent in Africa! My day started with a surprise phone call from my Mom and Dad, which was fun. I don't think I've really had someone call me on my cell phone, and it was great to hear their voices. Sometimes I think that people believe it is very mysterious and difficult to call here, but it is actually pretty simple, so it was a great way to start the day. Friday, a box arrived that they had sent - filled with Dark Chocolate Almond Zone Bars, and new walking shoes! Yay!
