I remember hearing about the Pineapple Diet when I was a kid. I don't know if anyone had success on it, but let me tell you - it would be a delicious AND affordable way to go in Rwanda. This golden beauty costs 1,200 rwandan francs (about $2.00), and is a staple on our daily menu. I happen to have two pineapples cut up into little delicious chunks chilling in my fridge right this minute. I have been told that pineapple + Nutella = exquisite. I have yet to try it, but I challenge my Nutella-lovin' dad to venture forth on this one. Report back.
