Day 66

Today had a lot going on, so there are a few pictures to document our day. Children at Kiziba Camp wear the common rubber slipper.

The construction crew and Brad add some organic solution to the latrines to manage odor and flies. As I posted earlier, this is glamorous work we do!
#1 at Cormoran Lodge - Clay knows what I'm talking about, and yes, we had Dame Blanche for dessert.
Santa's helpers again...we delivered vision equipment to Kibuye District Hospital.
We will be proficient in all things vision- and latrine-related by the time this mission is over!
These hard-working camp residents are earning 600 Rwandan Francs per day ($1.00) carrying sand to one of the latrine construction sites. This is the true definition of back-breaking work, yet the women are happy to have a job.
