Day 77

The entire Humanitarian group attended the temple on the last afternoon of our meetings. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful 3-day conference where we met the Country Directors from: South Africa (they also cover Namibia, Botswana, and Swaziland), Mozambique, Madagascar, western part of D.R. Congo, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya (they also cover Tanzania), Zimbabwe (they also cover Malawi), Lubumbashi DR Congo (they also cover Burundi and Zambia), the Area Welfare staff, and us. It is amazing that all these people are volunteering their time for 18 or 23 months to do this crucial  humanitarian work on behalf of the Church. We are so lucky to be a part of it! I give this conference a minimum of a "2-pounder" rating due to the 3xday buffets at the Sunnyside Hotel where we stayed.

I love to see the different languages used on the temples. It's difficult to read from this angle, but the church's name is written in Afrikaans.

We hope to return for a temple trip with members of the Kigali Branch.
