Day 174

This shot was taken by the branch member who works with me on the garden and poultry project in Kigali Branch. He travels around and checks on the progress of the gardens and chickens that are being raised by ten families in KIgali - some are members, and some are their neighbors. The goal of the project is to increase nutrition and self-reliance among the participants. This picture shows the daughter tending the little vegetable plants. It's a pretty neat project, and we are just getting started in helping two branches in Bujumbura, Burundi to apply for a similar project.
