Day 154

If it's Saturday, then you will find us at the Missionary Demonstration Garden. This project has been so fun because it benefits people that we know and see every week - members of our branch. It has been rewarding to see the young men pay their own transport to get down to the building and then work for several hours in the garden. After mucking around in the dirt,  they get cleaned up, we bring them a drink and a small snack, and we hold a missionary prep class for one hour. I'm pretty happy because one of them has completed his paperwork (no easy task since they don't have a mom to do it for them!), and is ready for his branch president interview. It is our hope that we will get to see at least 4 young men depart for their mission before we depart from ours!
