This photo is taken with leaders of the Bujumbura 1st Branch after the completion of a meeting about developing a Benson Food Initiative project in their branch. We developed, submitted, and got approval for the first such project in the Africa Southeast Area for the Kigali Branch. Now, we are helping the members in two Burundi branches develop the same thing! The concept of this type of project is to increase nutrition and health among members and their neighbors through small home gardens and classes on self-reliance and food production which are all led by members.
