| Some architect had a good time designing the airport in Bujumbura. It seemed like a series of overgrown quonset huts. The city is less developed, smaller, and less crowded than is Kigali. Some governments are a little picky about having their national structures (i.e. bridges and airports) photographed, so Brad told me that I was on my own if I got carted off to jail for taking this photo. Don't chuckle...that is a very real possibility in some of the countries that we have traveled to. But, I'm kind of a rebel that way... |
