Day 129

If you know your Kinyarwanda, you will read that the plaque on the right says that the latrines are handed over to Kiziba Camp! Yippee!
This has been a wonderful project, and we are happy that we could be the site monitors and watch its progress from the ground up. Because this was the last of the 14 latrines, our partner (UNHCR) arranged for the minister, the governor, the mayor, lots of police and army guys, the media, and the community to attend the ceremony. It actually is a very big deal, as these buildings are by far the nicest structures in the camp!
