Day 241

The Crested Crane is the national bird for Uganda and has incredible markings. They are so striking, live to about 40 years old, and stay in pairs. This 10-month-old male doesn't have a mate yet, so he's kind of lonely, and prowled around the small hotel that we stayed at in Bujumbura. He spent a lot of time looking at his reflection in the swimming pool...probably should name him Narcissus!
