Day 212

This family is in Kigali Branch. The husband told us a month ago that his wife and children live far out in the Eastern part of the country, and could rarely come to church. He told us an incredible story about his wife's conversion story. He had been baptized, but his wife liked her church, and felt no need to join a different church. However, one day she came to him and shared a dream she had had. She dreamed of a beautiful white building with spires and an angel on top. She told him that the name Sacramento Temple came to her in the dream. He nor she knew of our small temple located in Folsom, CA. Because he wasn't familiar with that word, he kept asking her, "Do you mean Sacrament?". She told him no - the name Sacramento Temple came to her. She came to learn that this was, indeed, a temple in our church, and she went on to take the lessons and be baptized. When it came time for us to reunite in our building, I told the husband that he should try to get his family to come to Kigali. Sure enough, they showed up - a 3 hours bus ride later. We had printed a photo of our temple, laminated it, and were happy to present it to them! Their goal is to go to the temple as a family. I hope they can come to church so that their goal is made possible through the Temple Patron Fund. This is just one of many examples of the incredible experiences we have on our mission.
