Day 183

FINALLY....this is the first time we have held church at a place other than our home since November 2011. For $32, this little room was all ours for the day! We carted down all the hymnals, the keyboard, and sacrament materials to Conference Room 4 of the Mount Kigali Hotel in Nyamirambo. This was "Church on Wheels". About 30 of us showed up, which is incredible, considering we just made the decision to move our meeting here at noon yesterday, and had the branch counselor start making calls last night. We are renting this room for the next 3 Sundays, hoping that our regular building will be availalble to meet in by the end of this month. PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE (not my strong suit).
The members were so delighted to see one another again.

Many of the testimonies shared today centered on the wonderful blessing to be able to be with one another again.

One of our next outgoing missionaries.

Look at the deliciousness I made for dinner tonight - Sweet and Spicy Pork Pineapple Mango Salad.

Yea, I made those salty tortilla chips from some homemade tortillas.

  1. Ah! So happy for you guys. That is a huge blessing and I bet it felt so good to finally have services. Patience is not my strong suit either, I sure wish it wasn't a virtue.

    Also those salads look delish!
