| Fidele (on the right) is one of the 7 or 8 young men who is preparing to serve a mission from the Kigali Branch. He is from Gisenyi, located in northwestern Rwanda across the border from Goma in DR Congo. His 33 year old brother Camille (pronounced Camillay) and nephew Richard came for a visit today. Fidele started working for us in late March and cares for our yard, guards the house during the day, and washes the truck. In return, he receives a salary, lives in small quarters behind the house, and is able to save francs to buy his passport and a contribution for his mission. He hopes to serve in the fall, at which time, we will employ another young man preparing to serve. |
