Day 311

My computer, that David so lovingly carried to me in Ethiopia in 2008, started being very naughty. I think it had something to do with this. The battery decided it needed to get out of its skin I guess, so it expanded without my permission.

We were pretty amazed when we found an authorised (that's how they spell it here) Apple dealer in town, and they had these in stock!!!!!!

I won't tell you how much I had to pay for the new battery, but I am now back in business! Oh, and after standing in the store watching the promotional videos on the Imac screens for about 45 minutes, I have developed a pretty good shopping list for 2013.
