Day 307

Four of the reasons we love water projects...bringing clean water to four little children.

We drove halfway up a mountainside to the school where the Muhuta handover was held, and were greeted by hundreds of schoolchildren, teachers, government officials, and the head of the water committee at one of the many waterpoints that were built.

COPED was represented by Jean Joseph. Later that night, we taught him all about Family Home Evening and the principle of eternal marriage.

SIster Bailey (new humanitarian missionary taking over our duties) and I try out the water ramp that is built in the school of 1800 kids.

Brad accepts a letter of appreciation from the Muhuta District. Prior to this humanitarian project, people collected their water from dirty streams. Now, people from villages, schools, and churches have access to 11 water points, with constant pure water flowing through them over a 10-kilometer distance.
